Paint corrections
What is a paint correction?
Paint correction is the process of restoring and enhancing a vehicle’s paintwork by removing imperfections such as swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation, and holograms. This is achieved through a series of steps involving machine polishing with specialized compounds and pads to level the surface and bring out a flawless, high-gloss finish. Paint correction is essential for achieving a smooth, mirror-like appearance and is often done before applying a ceramic coating to ensure the best results.
Paint correction includes
Thorough Wash and Decontamination: The vehicle is washed to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants. A clay bar treatment is used to remove any embedded particles from the paint surface.
Paint Inspection: The paint is carefully inspected under a bright light to identify imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, oxidation, or water spots.
Polishing: Using a machine polisher and cutting compounds, the detailer works the paint to remove imperfections, restoring a smooth and even surface. This may be done in multiple stages for deeper corrections.
Finishing Polish: A finer polish is applied to refine the paintwork, removing any haze or micro-marring, leaving a glossy and smooth finish.
Paint Protection: After correction, a protective layer (such as a wax or ceramic coating) is applied to seal the paint and maintain its shine, providing long-lasting protection.
Paint corrections
A one-step paint correction is a process that uses a single polishing stage to remove minor imperfections like light scratches, swirls, and oxidation from a vehicle's paint. It restores gloss and clarity to the surface, providing a noticeable improvement in appearance without the more intensive, multi-stage corrections.

Removes 60% of defects or more
increases clarity of paint and gloss
Best for newer cars with light scratches.
one step Paint correction Includes
Safe hand wash
Paint decontamination: bug and tar removal, iron fallout treatment, and a clay bar application.
A light to medium polish combined with a one-step pad, applied using a dual-action (DA) polishing machine
6-8 month Hand wax
